On January 20, 2020, we renamed ShareWisU, the video course delivery service for organizations that we launched in May 2019, to WisdomBase.

Why we changed the name
Working with more than 200 publishers, training companies, and instructors, ShareWis has published and sold learning content across a wide range of fields on ShareWis, our online learning platform for individual learners.
As a business-to-business offering, we have also provided ShareWisU, a system that lets organizations deliver the video content they own as online courses and build members-only video course environments or e-learning environments for employees. ShareWisU has been adopted by consulting firms, training companies, schools, and government agencies, where it helps learning circulate within organizations.
We chose the new name WisdomBase to communicate our concept more clearly: turning the wisdom inside an organization into learning content, and building the foundation of a system that delivers the right content to the people who need to learn it.
The name WisdomBase expresses our hope that the service will become the “base” (foundation) for the “wisdom” of each organization that adopts it.
We will continue to improve the service to realize our mission at the time: “Optimize the circulation of learning content and create places where people can find hope through learning.”
