On August 3, 2026, ShareWis Inc. launched ProctorWis Connect, an exam proctoring service that can be embedded into your existing LMS or exam system via SDK/API.
ProctorWis Connect is delivered as Proctoring Infrastructure as a Service (PIaaS): proctoring itself is provided as “infrastructure” that plugs into other companies’ systems. You keep delivering and grading exams on the system you use today, and simply add AI proctoring, cheating detection, and identity verification on top.
No need to change systems just to add proctoring
As online exams become more common, preventing impersonation and cheating has become a challenge. However, most conventional proctoring services bundle proctoring with their own exam platform, so adopting them means migrating away from your existing system.
- The exam system is specified by headquarters or the parent company overseas, so switching is not an option
- Going back to in-person test centers is too costly, but cheating in online exams is a concern
- Proctoring services were considered, but at hundreds to thousands of yen per exam, the cost did not add up
To answer the need to “keep our system but still prevent cheating,” ProctorWis Connect offers proctoring on its own. You can get started simply by embedding the SDK into your exam screen and receiving the results through the API.
Choose the level of proctoring
You can choose a proctoring setup that suits the nature of each exam: detection of switching to other tabs, AI proctoring (front check), saving images only at the moments when cheating is suspected, continuous image capture, and identity verification by face recognition. Use light, low-cost proctoring for exams that do not require recording every candidate, and strict proctoring for high-stakes exams.
ProctorWis Connect is developed and operated in Japan by ShareWis Inc., which holds ISO/IEC 27001 (ISMS) certification, the international standard for information security management. Recorded video and image data are stored in the AWS Tokyo Region (in Japan) and automatically deleted 12 months after the exam is completed.
Two ways to adopt it
