Online learning company ShareWis raises funds from en Japan: combining the strengths of both companies to expand existing businesses and develop new services
ShareWis Inc. (headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Tomoki Tsujikawa; hereinafter “ShareWis”), which operates ShareWis, a free learning service that makes learning visible, and ACT, a marketplace for online learning materials, announces that it has completed a third-party allotment of new shares to en Japan Inc. (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takatsugu Suzuki; hereinafter “en Japan”), a company that supports both hiring and employees’ success after they join.
Purpose of the funding
The funds will be used to hire people to improve ShareWis, our free learning service, and ACT, our learning materials sales service, and to jointly develop, through a business alliance, an online version of “en-college,” en Japan’s flat-rate training service for small and medium-sized businesses.
About ShareWis / ACT
ShareWis (http://share-wis.com) and ACT (https://share-wis.com) are online learning services for working adults. ShareWis is a free service that helps people “encounter” what they want to learn through a unique interface called the “Knowledge Map,” and ACT is a marketplace where people can buy and sell online learning materials that help them build their skills.
About en-college
en-college is a flat-rate training service for small and medium-sized businesses, launched in January 2010. It provides “training that does not end in the classroom, but leads to results: changes in employees’ behavior afterward, a more vibrant company, and better business performance.” It offers more than 120 varied courses and has been used by about 1,000 companies and more than 110,000 people.
